The temperature in the rest of the freezer remained at around 36 degrees.

Our test data shows that the FGHB2866PF is able to warm up quite a bit in the freezer, and can get uncomfortably warm on the refrigerator's outermost shelving. Our heat maps show how the temperature fluctuates minute by minute. The orange region in the upper right corner, which is the butter bin, is especially warm throughout our testing period. It might not seem to be a problem at first, but the fridge spends most of its time above 32 degrees.

It's also worth mentioning that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model, which may be important for certain buyers. The issue is that it's not a great refrigerator, and the absence of top-of-the-line features and durable construction makes it difficult to recommend over more expensive options at this price point.
